These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to Bingwit, a community app for anglers operated by Innovexa, including this website. By creating an account or using Bingwit, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Bingwit lets anglers share catch photos, follow other anglers, drop fishing spots on a map, join tournaments and leaderboards, browse gear in the marketplace, book fishing boats, explore resorts, check a forecast, chat, and earn Stars rewards. Features may change as we improve the product.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bingwit. If you use Bingwit on behalf of a club, shop, or tournament, you confirm you have authority to do so.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details and for keeping your password confidential. Notify us if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that put the community at risk.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of photos, captions, reviews, messages, and other content you post. You grant Bingwit a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content inside the service so other users can see it as intended (for example on the feed, map, profile, or tournament board).
You agree that you will not post content that:
- Is illegal, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative.
- Infringes someone else’s photos, trademarks, or privacy.
- Impersonates another angler, shop, or official.
- Includes spam, malware, or attempts to scrape or disrupt the API.
- Misrepresents catches, tournament results, or marketplace listings in a deceptive way.
We may remove content, hide spots, or take other moderation action, including when another user reports or blocks you.
5. Community safety
Bingwit provides in-app reporting and blocking. Do not use chat, the map, or profiles to stalk, threaten, or share another person’s private information. Respect local fishing rules and private property when you mark spots.
6. Tournaments, marketplace, boats, and rewards
Tournament rules, prizes, and eligibility are set per event and may be run by Bingwit or a partner organizer. Marketplace listings are offered by vendors; Bingwit is not the seller unless we say so. Boat bookings and resort information are provided for convenience — confirm details with the operator before you travel. Stars and rewards have no cash value unless we expressly say otherwise, and we may adjust balances for error, abuse, or program changes. Some marketplace items can be claimed with Stars only and cannot be bought with cash.
7. Acceptable use of the API and app
Do not reverse engineer the app in violation of law, overload our servers, bypass authentication, or access another user’s data. Automated scraping of feeds, maps, or profiles is not allowed.
8. Intellectual property
The Bingwit name, pin-and-fish mark, and app design are owned by Innovexa / Bingwit. You may not copy the brand or the product for a competing service.
9. Disclaimer
Bingwit is provided “as is”. Fishing is inherently risky. Forecasts, map pins, and other users’ posts can be incomplete or wrong. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or that leaderboards are free of disputes. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost catches, trips, profits, or data, or for indirect damages arising from your use of Bingwit.
10. Termination
You may stop using Bingwit at any time and request account deletion. We may terminate access if you break these Terms. Sections that should survive (including content license for copies already distributed, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top will change when we do. If you continue to use Bingwit after an update, you accept the new Terms.
